    Stupid company went out of business and teh only firmware I can find is from Verbatim Europe.

    I'm kinda afraid to flash the firmware using that because it might flash it as a European DVD burner and only one of my DVD players can play DVD's from other regions.

    Does anyone here know where I can get the correct firmware i need?

    DVD+R/+RW burner.

    Firmware is firmware is firmware, regardless of what region it's from. There does not exist a firmware tailored for any specific regions. This is because, for a number of different reasons that I won't go into now, region information is not stored in the firmware itself (it's stored in another part of the drive that will un unaffected by any firmware flashes).

    Just use the firmware you found on the European Verbatim website and you'll be fine.
