BeAll has a so-so reputation, probably a little worse than Ritek. I have never tried these because I have read mixed reviews from people who have used this particular media code. At .74 cents a disc, these are not THAT cheap either and if they really are just BeAll manufactured discs, Meritline.com sells those for .59 cents each with free shipping. I don't advise you to deal with Meritline however, or with this mystery media. The Samsung +Rs are confirmed and seem to be a much better deal. The media sold on SuperMediaStore (not Ritek however) also seems to be making a lot of people happy, and it is REALLY cheap.

If you want my advice, buy these:

I use these and buy them from NewEgg and although they are pricey, you will not be dissapointed with their quality.

The quality for data is really good, I have experienced some playback issues though. I have some set top DVD Players that just do not like this media, it will completely fail to load the disc. Could be a dye color thing The KProbe and Nero CD/DVD Speed graphs always look excellant.

    BUT....

I too would rather have the maxell's than the BeAll media.
