    My RAID controller is: HPT372 UDMA/ATA133 RAID

    I have two HardDisk on RAID: the first is Maxtor 120gb 7200rpm ATA133 8mb of buffer (connected on IDE3). The second is 120gb Seagate 7200rpm ATA100 8mb of buffer (connected on IDE4).

    RAID 0, Block size: 64k

    Take a look at this test. Mainly the write speed!



    What could causing this ?

    It seems I read somewhere that is was recomended that if you Raid HDs they be exact same size,model and speed. This maybe your problem.
