I used to be insanely afraid of the dark. At the age of 17 my family went to visit the Mamoth Caves in Kentuky. After passing out 6 times and a quick visit to the on site infirmary, I got over my fear. Now my biggest fear is when I've lost trck of time with the friends and have to go home to my wife who has had a bad day, and it's usually around the time of her B/C shot. Nothing scarier than a pissed off woman doped up on hormones.

Raw liver. Probably why I haven't eaten meat for 18 years.

Not a phobia but the smell of stale urine really makes me gag

I knew it had a name somewhere. You'd think they'd notice wouldn't you, especially when walking in squelchy carpet slippers

I've known friends who had dogs that did that. There's something about the byproduct from lulu's digested kibble that fifi seems to enjoy the taste of. That or the dog's got a bad case of Pica.

Hey, no fair. It's not like I could get out of bed to go take a leak

I wanted to pull a fast one on the nurse and save my apple juice from one of the meals. Then when they come in the room to ask for a specimen, wait til she leaves and pour the apple juice in the cup. Then when she comes back have it under the sheets, wait til she asks for it, pull it out and say "Whoa, this looks a bit cloudy ....lemme run it through again" and swig down the "specimen". Never did though. Probably because they had me so juiced up on pain medication I couldn't plan that far ahead. :P

Yes, I was a happy ******* for that picture Some of the pain medication I got introduced to after my accident: Morphine Sulfate, Demerol, Talwin, Tylox, Percocet, Percodan.

Actually, after I came out of Intensive Care they had me on Morphine every 3 hours regardless. My BP spiked up to 185/130 and stayed there. My temp shot up to 102.5 and stayed there. Turned out I was allergic to opium-based pain medications and had allergic reactions to all of them - got the cold sweats from Demerol, hyperventilated from Talwin. Scary! The only heavy opium-based one I didn't get was Dilaudid, but it's probably a good thing because with its potency it might have killed me. I think it's something like 15 times as effective as morphine

I understand they have new non-opiate pain meds now. Not that I'm planning a repeat performance

I like Valium and Coedine. Also the anesthesia they have at the oral surgeon is great. :P I have a rant for that I'll post later today or tomorrow. That was a great trip.
