  2. Since no-one else has replied, and this post is a little old, I'll tell you how I go analog (VHS) to digital.
When I purchased my miniDV camera I knew I had some VHS I wanted to convert. So I found one, A Canon ZR60, that would allow me to plug in my old camcorder or VCR directly to the new camera and copy onto miniDV tapes, then I simply plug my miniDV camera into my computer and capture that way.
You're mixing older technology with newer technology and although I'm sure there is a fix for your problem, it might be time for you to upgrade to digital anyway (you won't be sorry) and you can get two birds with one stone.

    Hello
I have the same problem with my wintvpvr 250. It uses old vdw drivers (not sure if thats the right abreviation). It only works with the company capture software (and it captures in mpeg only- hardware based). You might have a similar problem. If that program wasn't the one that came with the card use the one that is. That should work assuming it was installed correctly.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
