Ok, regarding the white lines on my cable TV in the 2nd floor bedroom. I have discovered something interesting now. The lines are actually on all the tv's, even the ones on the first floor. They're just extremely faint on the 1st floor tv's and are worse on the 2nd floor tv's. So now what would this mean? Interference, something not properly grounded, is there an easy fix do you think?

Call the cable company to come check the line.

I had really bad reception years ago that got worse and worse by small measures but finally ended up being really bad.

    I called the cable company.

    They came out.

Checked the lines inside and out.

Found a problem with the line coming from the source (from a telephone pole) to the house.

They ran a whole new line and problem was solved.

They did this for free as should your cable company.

Ok, thanks. I will just have to give them a call and see if they can come back out.
    Thanks.
