I love Marguarita's !!! Any other drinks I should try !!??

I don't really expect much in the way of responses, but what the hell !! ...

I must say that we have a Mexican eating establishment very close to home that represents the most outstanding Marguarita Value in the city if not the State -- $3.00 per drink of relatively potent frozen delight. Their Frozen Marg's pack quite a punch and 3-4 will leave you feeling quite nice. This coming from a very capable and very proificient Tequila drinker.

Any how -- I feel very adventureous, so what other drinks would you recommend to an avid Marguarita Drinker !! Looking for maximum effect for minimum bucks !!

I'll check later as the wife is nice and toasted and I may get "lucky", as she too is feeling very adventureous in a different sort of way !!

I don't drink very often, but when I do I'm partial to Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers, Pina Coladas, and Bailey Coladas (make a PC with Bailey's instead of rum).

I invented my own drink too. Take a 16 oz bottle of grapefruit juice. Drink a third to a half of it. Then re-fill the empty part of the bottle with cheap 80 proof vodka (Alexi or Georgi for example). Some people would call this a grapefruit screwdriver, but you can call it an 888888. Makes you smell, look and feel like a homeless man. Ahhh, high school, the memories.

I still have a thing about cheap scotch and mellow yellow.... I once bought a (plastic) bottle of scotch that was so cheap, I drank almost the whole two litres in one day and barely got a buzz!

Ya know what's wierd ... when I read this thread I started a few searches. When I was in college we did hte same thing... and also called them Alabama Slammers .... We used 7-up instead of cream soda.... slam and shoot.... But I could not locate "our" version of this name.

If you mix them right they are potent and taste like a red slurpie. The casino near me sells them for $3 but they are piss-weak in terms of alcohol content so you need like 15 before you feel it.

I like Marguaritas and love Long Island Ice Teas....we use to go to this place down near Cincinnati where you could buy 48 oz Long Islands for $3.00 man has there been some drunken crawls from that place

I prefer to drink liquor and Whiskey straight.

If you drink Tequilla...try chasing it with water!! Mucho Grande tip right there...but be forewarned. The water takes the bite out of the Tequilla, and you will drink more than you think you have...just becareful the first time you stand up
