The one thing I was disappointed with on the CF DVD, other than the lack of 16:9 Enhancement, was the lack of subtitles. It would have been nice to have subtitles for the commentary at least, as the commentators were just about impossible to understand.

I hear that ... I could almost tell it was a recycled laserdisc transfer. For that kind of transfer, though, it isn't too bad. Certainly better than the VHS tape I watched a long, long time ago (which was probably censored, come to think of it).
