multiple speaker conncection

i aheva set of boston acoustic speaker, 2 speakers and a subwoofer, and i use this with my appe pro speakers that came with my imac, to get a better sound? how would i go about doin this?

hook the speaker/subwoofer set up to an amplifier. hook the amp to the mac. its as easy as that

As long as a speaker question has been brought up, what kind of speakers are you all using. I have a cheap set of powered speakers (Advent) but was looking to upgrade. Any opinions on Apple Pro, Creative, HK Soundsticks? Thanks

i have the sound sticks but they are used only when my external stereo is off.

Otherwise i have the audio our ported to my AUX on my amplifier and then pump the sound out through my 500 watt system. Its decent, nice bass action with some of the video games, especially Lord of the rings return of the king!
