Hi everyone this is my first post![]()
My question is pretty simple. After plenty of technical deliberation, I was intending to get the DVD burner mentioned in the subject title (Sony DRX 700UL).
But I was just wondering why it's actually priced lower than, the DRX530UL, for instance? This seems a bit of a disparity, considering that the 700UL has (according to most online accounts of the specs) better burning speeds in general - DVD+RW for example -, and the additional DVD DL write capacity.
What do u guys think about this ?
(btw I'm getting the prices off Sony Style Europe site; according to which the DRX530 is £169 compared to £165 for the 700UL).
Cheers,
Dan

Lower?
Where?
If it is lower, my guess is that it probably results from strange price distortions that may result from the fact that it's an external USB drive.
