The new encoder version 3.0 XPress does not seem to have this option. I am converting video shot on my DV camera to DVD and the output is noticeably washed out compared to the source tape. I have resorted to using filters to reduce luminance and red levels slightly to try and match the original video. I previously tried v2.5 of the encoder on a trial basis and enabling the 'Output YUV data as Basic YCbCr" setting helped a lot. Does anyone know where this setting is in the new version or if there is any other setting for reducing luminance other than messing with the filters?

This is why I switched to using pretty much nothing else now but Cinema Craft Encoder as you don't have that problem (i.e., screwed up luma).
