capture bar error on TMPGenc DVD Author

When TMPGenc DVD Author is opened the "Project Menu" pops up, giving you a choice between "Create New Project" and "Open Existing Project File".

So - before I even choose bewteen these two, before I start or modify a project, the "Capacity of the Created DVD" bar at the bottom shows a project size of over 4MBs!

Seeing as how the program doesn't know yet what project (if any) I'll be working on, shouldn't that file size be ZERO?

Where are those 4MBs coming from? Where might they be located? Can I delete them? Will they count towards my final disc size, or be on the disc?

Strange. Mine says 4.37G, the size of a blank DVD.
