Just got my new catalog at work for
office supplies and such...And I always look
throguh the media section just to see
if they have come close yet to beating
    online prices....Well, they are offering
RCA branded DVD-Rs, supposedly 2x recording speed,
for a 6 pk for $17.95, which is not a great deal
by any stretch, but I just thought..."hmmm,
RCA media! Perhaps a cheap alternative to Memorex?"

So i went online and found out a little here
    http://www.rca.com/product/viewdetail/0,2588,PI700851-CI700338,00.html?

    Anybody ever tried these discs?
more importantly, has anyone seen them locally?

  2. Haven't tried the RCA discs but that is really expensive. You're better off with something like Ritek discs that cost about $30 for a 50 pak and they are good quality.

according to the DVD MEdia link on the left,
the RCA discs are actually Ritek G03!

    anyhow, I was just curious.
I would NEVER give up my TDK 2x media!!
