  1. I tried to make a copy of an Audio CD with Nero on a CD-R (for making backup CD ) but that CD is not playing on my VCD player. How can I create a Copy of my Audio CDs on CD-R?

    Any freeware suggestions?

  2. One more information to my problem.....

The created CD is playing on my PC (through winamp) but not on my hardware VCD player which plays the original audio CD. I wrote the disk at 8X speed.

  4. I cant confirm this as I burned two audio CDs on CD-R and both dont play.
However MP3s/VCDs written on CD-R play on my VCD player. Should I write at lower speed than 8X?

You need to rip the CD to your HD first. I like Easy CDDA Extractor but Cdex is good and it's freeware. Rip in PCM and then any CD burning program should burn a disk. Nero should be able to make a direct copy, did you use CD Copy mode? Some Cd's have copy protection.

Some devices will not play CDr's. Get a CDr from a friend and try it. If his playes and yours dosen't you can try to fix it. I might add that they should be on the same media, because some burners, and players don't like some media. I doubt it is a cpoy protection problem, because the disk was copied, it plays on the computer". Also you can check your burn with CD Speed.
