I was wondering if someone could give me the actual visible part of the television. I am making a DVD at 720x480, and will like to know exactly what part of that is visible.
ok, let me start over. I have pictures that are orginally 780x541. I want to place the image inside 720x480, put I want to make all the picture visible, nothing obscured by overscan. What resolution for the orginal image do you recommend?
Thank You..

648 x 432 will for sure do it .. thats 10% , which is about the standard ....
there is also title safe which is smaller than video safe .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
