  1. VD only allows me to cut every 300 frames and not in between. I have a movie that I want some frames in between Frame 0 and Frame 300. But VD would not cut in between. Is there a way I can modify this to set it say, every 150 frames?

    sounds like you're trying to cut a Divx/xvid file. in vdub, click video - full processing. then video compression and select your desired codec. you can now output a file of any length.
