  1. I posted a question some time ago about vob files and how to change them to a file type that i could edit and add titles to etc, a few suggestions were vobedit and cladvd, however when i downloaded thes it would not let me install or use them and in fact it kept trying to open them in a file viewer program, please offer any advice to a complete novice, already i hear you running, but any advice would be appreciated, cheers..

    I haven't used cladvd and I don't know how it works. I have used vobedit though and you don't have to install anything. It comes in a zip file and all you have to do is unzip it wherever you like and run it.
    I think the file viwer program you mention is the exact program. Just click on open, on the bottom left corner and browse to where you vob files are. Then click on demux and choose to demux audio, video and subs and that's it.
