  1. I was near the end of my 50 spindle and upon burning them and looking at the bottoms, there seems to be "color streaks", meaning the purple would make different shades and stuff. Tested them in dvdinfopro and they all read 100% fine with no errors, but should i just toss them out instead?

just burn something which is less important on one/a few of them and see how well it goes... what have you got to lose?
those streaks sound bad but it could just as well be working, especially if you didn't have any read errors...
With all due respect... and there is respect...

I bet players will upchuck these. At least sometimes.

The tests you do are READ TESTS and depend on the quality of the ROM drive too.

I primarily use G04's (red and white cakebox from newegg) and use 49 out of a 50 pack, with the 50th being used either for unimportant backing up, or for testing purposes. Usually the disc ends up ok, even with some highly visible marks. My Toshiba SD-1800, and Shinsonic 100-A have yet to choke on a movie from the bottom of a Ritek spindle, flawless playback. My PS2 on the other hand isn't quite as reliable but its not unwatchable on it. I just do verification and it works, I don't do any read tests with KProbe or Nero CD or anything but the discs do work well 3 out of 4 times. The other 49 however...100% perfect.

YES, finally someone has problem now with Ritek! When do you buy that product and from where? Look up this RMA post, then you will know what is going on there? It could be one of the reason!
