I have a couple hundred hours of poor quality VHS video tape that I need to capture to my computer.
I have already learned the lesson to record using higher quality equipment, but this won't help my current situation.
What are some of the got-ya's that I can expect and what are some of the tricks that can be used to capture this video?
I am trying to maintain frame-to-frame integrity so I am leary about using capture techinques that compress information from successive frames (which I think some of the USB2 capture devices using MPEG2 compression do).
