I've got a Pioneer 106 4X DVDRW+ and -, and I am looking at purchasing a Dual Layer DVD Burner. So I'm wanting to know, if I was to buy either that LG Burner, or another one of the Dual Layer burners that have now been released, does that mean that when I backup a dvd using DVD Shrink Beta Version, that say for a huge movie like Lord Of The Rings Return Of The King, that instead of having to be done at 54% quality, it would be able to be done at 100% quality?
Also by doing a dual layer dvd does that mean that I'd have to use a DVD+R instead of the -R's that I use now, and also would I have to use other programs than just DVDShrink Beta Version and then Nero Burning Rom to create the working DVD?
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

You don't need to use dvdshrink, you can use dvddecrypter and make a 1:1 copy. And yes you must use dvd+r dl.
But I would wait a while because the dvd+r dl media is still very expensive and the dvd player compatibility doesn't seem to be that good for dvd+dl media.
