Hi guys... this is my first post so go easy on me.
I have been happily converting mpeg / avi etc files with stereo and ac3 for a while now using virtualdub and tmpge ready to burn to dvd. However, I have got hold of an avi with DTS audio and although I can play it on my PC using power dvd I cannot for the life of me decode the audio so I can carry on as normal and turn it into a DVD.
To sum up I need to...
1) strip the DTS audio out of the avi file
2) convert the DTS audio into ac3 or a format I can use.
The finished streams will be put through TMPGE as normal.
Any advice welcome and recommendations for software that will do the job even more welcome.
Cheers
Poindexter
P.S Ive collected various programs that may do the job (HyperCube / Oagmachine) but no joy as yet.
