morning all,
i made dvd sons tball works great, then like last years soccer dvd i wanted to add an extra folder with all the still pics taken. so i authored the dvd to the harddrive then used nero to drag drop the audio ts/ video ts folders then added the pic folder. works great on computer playback even my sony dvd player but my samsung combo not so much. yet it did play last years soccer one like that.
i tried -Rs and +rws any ideas?
this is my incremental step towards making an interactive dvd (movies for playback on standalone but in computer perhaps a game and or http links which if you have a link to a guide on that i would also like)
thanks
morning

I use Nero 6 and select the DVD-Video option.
It creates an VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder. Your VOB, IFO, ect files go into the VIDEO folder. What I do next is create a DATA folder and put items such as a back-up scan of the DVD case and sometimes a MP3 copy of the soundtrack. I just then drag the folder into the preview plane under the VIDEO and AUDIO folders to be burned. You then get:
AUDIO_TS
DATA (With your extra stuff)
VIDEO_TS (With the video)
It plays fine on stand alone players and PCs can access the data. Just make sure you don't go over the size limit of your DVD. Nero may give sometype of warning, just ignore it.For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!
