OK... I was able to create good DVD filesystems by using TMPGEnc to demux my .mpgs (still want to know why DVD-Lab can't do that properly). The source material was a 16:9 letterbox After extracting from my RePlay, the .mpgs had a moving grey bar at the top (for closed-captioning, I'm told). Everyone said don't worry, it'll disappear when I make a DVD. Well, it didn't. How do I get rid of it?
Also, the finished product is a 16:9 "letterbox" but the file says 4:3 in DVD-Lab. Is there a way to make it anamorphic 16:9? Without reencoding or doing anything ridiculous which'll affect quality, of course...
