Ok, I'm beyond overwhelmed and confused.
I've decided to not get the ATI 9800 PRO AIW card. Newer graphic's cards are out with more memory (256mb), and are much cheaper. Unfortunately, they don't have the necessary inputs for analog capture and now i lose the ability to capture that way.
So now I'm looking for an internal capture device (possibly a TV-tuner card with video-in). The only problem is, I'm majorly confused. Its simple enough to capture the video, but how do you capture the audio? I'm assuming you run the red/white cables directly to my "Line-IN" on my soundcard, but how do you get the cables to fit? Do you need an adapter? Don't you lose the stereo sound (does the sound get turned into mono along the way)?
If someone could clarify this, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
