I have an .mpg file that was reated from a Panasonic ShowStopper (RePlayTV 3000) with extract_rtv I edited it with Womble MPEG Wizard to remove commercials and wound up with a file just over 4GB. It will play just fine. When I tried to "Import Asset" in DVD-Lab 1.3, after demuxing I got an error:
Cause: Bad header or unknown error
This file doesn't seem to be MPEG audio
Check if it is not a wrongly named ac3...
It tells me I cannot ignore this error. I searched the forum and found one reference, that being "Use TMPGEnc instead". Not too helpful. What is wrong with the audio? How do I fix? I wouldn't be surprised if there was something specific about the RePlay 3000 format, but I haven't found anything specific.

Open the file in Womble.
Demux audio from video.
Load the audio into Goldwave or Soundforge.
Resample to 48k if needed, save as .wav
Load the video and newly saved .wav into dvdlab.
If the file is now too big, beause of the .wav, load the .wav into Tmpgenc, Audio ES only. Convert it. Load the resulting mp2 (m2p, mpa) into dvdlab.Cheers, Jim
