Hello. Here is my problem. I rented this movie I really like and was planning on copying it with DVD Shrink, which did not work. So then I used Smart Ripper and ripped a copy to my hard drive. The I used DVD2AVI to make my .d2v template for tmpeg encoder. Anyways I ran it back through TMEG encoder as a MPEG-2 file 16:9 screen format with no problems, and then authored it with Ulead DVD Movie Facotry. When I watched it on the TV the screen was nice and crisp, the 16:9 aspect ratio workd perfectly, but when there was fast motion there was some lines that looked like interlacing lines. I know they were not interlacing lines due to the fact that the source video was progressive scan. And I had the interlacing turned off in TMPEG Encoder. I remember reading about this in a forum not too long ago, but forgot the solution to the problem. Could the problem be something I did or did not do in DVD2AVI or TMPEG Encoder? One thing on my mind at the moment is that I ran is at 29.97 FPS in DVD2AVI and not 23.97. Could this make this effect? Please help!
