Hi !
I am in a process tranferring all my old vhs tapes over to DVD. I yse an pretty good S-VHS player - Philips VR-1100 with TBC and DNR, over to an Datavideo TBC-1000, further down to an Canopus advc-300, and then (finally) via firewire into my computer.

I'm one of the (few) and (lucky ?) guys that Studio 9 works very well for, and I use it for capturing, editing, menus and then burning to DVD. Works pretty fine !!

JUST ONE PROBLEM ! - The audio is too low on some of the tapes. Not all - pretty much of them goes out fine, specially when I correct the audio in the program Picture Controller who came with the advc-300.
BUT - some of the tapes is too low on audio no matter what I do. I try to raise the volume in Picture controller, and I try again in Studio 9, but that don't work !

SO - some time ago, I read about this little gem in another thread at this forum, and my simple question is - will this unit let me adjust the volume settings in any way ???

If not - can someone please put me in the right direction to find a unit that will ???

I have tried to ask in stores, but it seems like no one really knows. (At least - no one in the large chain-stores).

Here is the link to the unit I'm talking about:

(And - if that matters - I use s-vhs cable for video and red/white cables (rca?) for audio all the way through the chain.)

Please help.
