  1. Hello I'm new to videoeditting, I'm stuffing in knowledge of video editting. I read a guide about burning SVCD. My nero [ i tested ] automatically encode the AVIs again while burning into VCD and SVCD, but the guide said do not do so. But it seems to do it automatically, how do I solve it?

Also, when players cannot read the CD-Rs, does the CD-R itself matters? Or its just the player itself that matters?

Are you trying to make a SVCD with AVI's? (Don't you mean MPEG-2's)

I have the same question. I want to make a few XVCD and my burner is Nero 6. Is there a way to force Nero 6 to burn my TMPGEnc MPEG1 files without encoding?
