Just ordered first computer with a DVD-ROM and DVD_+ drive/burner. I'm in the U.S. Would like to know if the DVD-ROM will play other regions and PAL. If not how do I get around it. Can external PAL compatible drives be found and added? If brand of computer matters it's a Sony RZ series. I want to back up my R2 PAL dvds to DVD-R that will play in R1 player with DVD Shrink Copy. Also remove unwanted subtitles. Thanks.

Or you could just make sure DVDDecrypter is open first - let DVDDecrypter rip the entire DVD(in file mode) to your HD - then open those files with DVDShrink. The result will be region free.....just did it this morning as a matter of fact.
