  1. I have 3 SVCD files that I want to merge and convert to DVD. If I only select 1 of the files individually in TMPGEnc Project Wizard, it works. If I tick the "Open sequence files as movie" option and try to open the 3 files together TMPGEnc stops responding. Does anyone know how to fix this or of another method that I can use to merge the files and convert?

    Thanks alot.

  2. Use DVD2AVI. Add the files one after another in order and make a DVD2AVI project file (d2v). Open the d2v file in TMPG and encode. The advantage is also you will have already demuxed and merged audio file - in DVD2AVI check audio-MPEG audio-demux.

  3. I get illegal stream format when I try to open the project in TMPGEnc. If I try to add the d2v file as the video source in TMPGEnc Project Wizard I get an error saying that it can not open or unsupported.

  4. Hmm, hopefuly you are using DVD2AVI 1.76. Try to increase priority of the Directshow multimedia reader plug-in of TMPG. Option-Enviromental setting. Click on VFAPI plug-in tab. I am not sure, but while you are at this tab there is listed internet adress where you can also download and install VFAPI Reader codec (or something like that). AFAIK the latest TMPG versions come with this codec bundled.
