Hi all,
sorry if this has been answered before - I have tried searching for quite a while, and not come up with much.
I'd like to know if there are any command line arguments that can be passed to the nVidia drivers to activate the Clone mode under the nView.
I use the TV-Out quite a lot on my card, and would like to be able to set up a shortcut which would change my display properties to activate the TV-Out without having to go the 'long way round' of using the Control Panel Display Properties.
I have a nVidia GeForce 2 MX400 with TV-Out, and currently use a fairly old verison of the Detonator drivers (28.32 - I think).
Does anyone know of a command line solution that would switch to Clone?
cheers,
mcdruid.

One way to do it is to setup profiles under the NVidia Driver (this is how I do it) you will need to update your drivers if they are more than about 6 to 12 months old.
As an example I have one profile called "Desktop Mode" which has my main monitor (19") and second monitor (15") and one profile named "TV Mode" which has my main monitor and TV (downstairs).
Just set all the display settings you want for normal desktop activity (including res, refresh, color depth, etc) then save it as a profile. Then set all display settings you want for TV activity and save it as a profile. Now you can assign the profiles a hotkey (my Desktop Mode is Ctrl-Shft-1 and TV Mode is Ctrl-Shft-2). Look through the info on NVidia's drivers.
Just take note that the hotkeys are saved as part of the profile so you will need to set them in both profiles (otherwize it looks as if the hotkeys you set don't stick, which kept me quite annoyed for a while.)
Once you get that down you can even look at Girder to change them from a remote or automatically when you open a program (like zoomplayer).
