hi. could really really use some help here guys. have been coastering many many discs trying to figure this out. problem is this. i have a whole bunch of jpegs that i want to make into a photo story to put on a vcd for playback on a standalone vcd player. i use powerdirector3.
after putting it all together (love the PIP) and rendering it into vcd (ntsc), i burn it on to a cd and when it plays back on my sony vcd player... it's full of stutter. skipping all over the place. i have rendered the stream many many times in different formats using pd3... same thing it stutter on the vcd player. plays fine on the PC. the disc also plays without problems on a dvd player. why?...
i reconverted the rendered file using tmpeg into PAL and it improved somewhat. but the transitions were all jerky.. not smooth, but it didnt stutter.
is there a difference in ntst/pal on vcd players? i thought it was only a tv thing. why does it play on dvd players?
have done this before using DV and it plays fine... its the jpeg issue i cant figure out. using sony x48 discs. burner is samsung combo and liteon portable.
could it be vcd 1.1 / 2.0 issue??
please help, i have burnt so many disc.. its not even funny anymore.
please, please help kind sirs....
regards,
asmd.
