  1. Im converting a movie from avi to dvd with UMSP 6.5 I can only fit a 16 min movie on my cdrw 80min cd. Is that normal
    or can I fit more ? setting 720x480 bit raate is variable at 5500.

  2. You will NEVER fit a movieon a managable amount of CD-R media with THAT bitrate. Try lowering bitrate & resolution and make a SVCD or VCD.

    At that bitrate...the answer to your question....

  3. The problem is you're using the DVD template to put your movie on CDR (vs. DVDR) media. You should use a VCD/SVCD template w/ a bitrate between 900~2520kbit/s if you want to put your movie on CDR.

  4. Thank you for fast reply but I tried to put a vcd movie on a cd and it came out very blocky I tryed all different settings but still got the blockyness. I even used Tmpgenc but still got blockyness in the final video, my home dvd palyer will play vcds but it looks blocky on the screen.
