I've been using DVD-Lab and SVCD2DVD to convert my PAL SVCD's to DVD, and when I play back on my PC everything looks fine. When I play on any home dvd player though, both left and right sides are cut off, but the top and bottom seems intact. But, when I play it on my XBOX through xbox media player, it shows fully as it does on my PC.
Probably a really simple reason for it being cut off.. but im really new to all of this and I cant find any specific solution through searching.![]()

O V E R S C A N (How many times has this been asked?) Every TV cuts a piece off all borders, with a different amount varying from model to model. Your XBox is designed for TV output so it's video circutry takes overscan into account.
The solution is to take this into account yourself, adding a black border around the image when encoding to compensate.
