I think if you're using a phone illegally and get in an accident then it's dangerous driving

It makes you wonder how they put gaping holes in the law like that. Do they sit around and try to think of new and more idiotic ways to mess it all up?

I use a 'Hands Free' headset for my cell phone and I only accept incoming calls while driving and I let people know I have no way of writing anything down while I'm in my car. To take time and dial or text someone wether holding the cell or not causes you to take your eyes away from where they need to be looking. In Vegas, it's bad enough with smut all over the place and trying to pay attention to the road. I know people who got in accidents just looking away for a moment trying to find a specific CD to put in. I'm sorry, but listening to Shania Twain's music isn't a top priority when there's a possibility of having a head on at 50+MPH. If My wife is in the passenger seat, then she answers the cell and does everything for me, but I will not hold the cell up to me ear while I'm driving. That's just a common sense 'NO NO'! I even wear my 'hands free' set into work and around at the mall or going to the restaurant at times. A couple of years ago it looked odd, but today many other people do it, too.

I just pull over at a safe place, find the missed call and return it.
