  1. I just installed the updated drivers, codecs and MMC 9.0 for my ATI AIW Radeon 7500, and all of the programs open and run fine, except the TV module, which is the only reason I installed it all in the first place. I need to be able to capture video, but obviously without the TV module, it just wont happen. Anyone have this problem?

  2. This seems to happen with every new release. Note that ATI requires you to UNINSTALL the existing driver and MMC and revert to default Windows video driver, then INSTALL the new driver and MMC. You get problems like this if you update by installing the new software on top of the old software as you would normally expect to do for anyone else's software. ATI's brain-dead installer doesn't complain, it just quietly screws up the configuration.

Same here on a Gigabyte 9200 VIVO, only problem is that it was a fresh install of XP Pro (OS w/SP1 and all patches), then drivers (Video and audio only) and then MMC, reboot, when trying to start TV it gives "unable to start TV"

Sorry, but I installed the latest and greatest, and it is working for me.

    ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV, ASUS CUSL2-C motherboard, PIII 1Ghz CPU, 512Mb RAM.

I did follow the instructions the first time, just removed the video drivers and upgraded, and that caused problems. Had to uninstall both video drivers and MMC, and then reinstall all.

There was a note that the new download included 2.4 for the remote control, but that was not to be found, so I had to reinstall 2.3.
