Hey gang. We have an old Philips DVD-Recorder at work and after we make DVDs of our own material, we cannot use a computer to copy them because of files that Philips adds to the disc. I have to manually edit them to get them to copy.
Here's my question, what's it like on the Panasonic DMR-T3040. Can I take a DVD that I've recorded from my own (not copyrighted) material and then mass duplicate it with a PC, or would I have to fudge it first?
One more thing, we'd only be using DVD-R not DVD-RAM.

DVDDecrypter in ISO READ mode(place that .iso image to the hard drive) then use DVDDecrypter in ISO WRITE mode to burn that back to a DVD(+-)R. Works every time with my Philips created discs....and DVDDecrypter is FREE.

Thanks for the advice, but we really want to use a DVD duplicator so no computer would be involved.

Any stand alone DVD recorder makes a psuedo DVD, in fact your Phillips is the best as far as duplicating goes, from many who have tested them in comparison to others. The Panasonics even leave out the TS Audio file..
Author your videos on a computer if you want professional compatibility in duplication. -
