How do I make an 480x480 xvcd?

Hi,

I want to make a 480x480 xvcd from a 720x480 dv capture. I believe I've heard of this being done but each time I try the image ends up smaller and centered to the left.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

your dvd player maybe dont support xvcds in 480x480....tried svcd?

Thanks Baldrick for the reply, my player Pioneer dv-727 doesn't support svcd, it just comes up as cd and plays but no picture or sound. I can play an xvcd up to 2500 bpr. I've tried many different suggestions, if you have one please let me know .

If you're using TMPGEnc, then just play around with the video arrange settings under the advanced tab. Try putting it at "Full Screen", that maybe will fix it..
