  1. Hi, trying to use IfoEdit I:

Start IfoEdit -> Selecct 'Dvd Author' -> Select 'Author New Dvd' -> get file selection boxs for selecting separate video (m2v) and audio (various formats) streams.

Does IfoEdit allow selection of mpg file(s), or do they have to be decomposed first? Thanks,

  2. You do have to demux first, but that's no problem. VOBEdit does .mpg and VOB demuxing, and it's free.

  3. Outstanding! Tried it, but....it doesn't recognize my video stream.

This is a stream that's been captured from a ReplayTv (similar to TiVo, not very standard).

It works fine on a stream that's been ripped from a dvd though. On my file it plays in the preview window, but when I try the demux, it doesn't do anything. It just closes the audio file save window and returns to the main display.

    Thanks anyhow.

  4. Have a look at this free tool - I think this may do what you want...

  5. Thanks again, but no luck. That tool requires a connection to a Tivo box. I have a ReplayTv. ReplayTv has a similar tool called DvArchive, that connects and moves files around, but no authoring. I was hoping TyTool might do some things without connecting, but no dice. I'll keep looking! Thanks again,
