I captured a VHS movie to DV with my Sony camera's pass through to my computer using DVIO. I then converted the DV to a .m2v file via Main Concept Encoder. I then try to author the .m2v file with IfoEdit, but it crashes hard. Any other .m2v file I made with TMPGEnc Plus! authors okay. The audio files with the Main Concept m2v file I tried were wave, AC3, and mpa formats, but it made no difference. Any ideas?

It seems the MPEG Tools in TMPGEnc Plus! saved the day. I "demuxed" the .m2v file to a new file name, and IfoEdit likes the new file just fine.
