Well my computer shouldn't be the problem I don't think. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2600 with 768 MB DDR Ram. I have been capturing AVI Uncompressed with MGI Videowave with 720x480 resolution. Then, when i print to my DV camera through one of my editing programs, its kind of choppy, not really noticeable, but still noticeable, especially when I edit a slow motion effect. All some of the clips have a horizontal line type of distortion to them. Anyone have any ideas on how I can capture perfectly what the tape shows on TV, edit it, and then send it back to the tape in the same condition? Any help would be much appreciated.

i really doubt you are capturing uncompressed video ... unless you are capturing to a scsi raid system ..
