  1. Hi everybody,
    Im using the pioneer a107 (on firewire) and datawrite red DVD-R media.Sometimes , after burning a dvd with nero and trying to play the movies in bsplayer i get an error message .Also in media player i get an error about runtime .I have acces to the disk and can even see the thumbnails of the movies.What can be wrong?the same movies when they were on the hard disk played with no problem at all.Im suspecting the media but happened often lately so i am not sure.any ideas?

  3. sorry maybe i wasnt clear.I meant i have divx movies in the dvd and i have problem playing them

    weird thing is that the same disk plays ok in other pc.

  5. I have heard that if your FireWire card or on board FireWire is not TI chipset (Texas Instruments) then it may not be completely relyable in WindowsXP.

    This is probably the issue, if you want to try other media however, I have always had great test results with this kind. (and they're inexpencive too!)

    If it plays OK in other pc players, I doubt there's anything wrong with Firewire. I would try it on DIVX player, then try some different media, though it sounds more like a software problem with your computer.
