  1. Hi, this is my first post so i'll try to make sence..
I use NeroVision (from Nero 6 Ultra Edition suite) to author my own DVDs and i think the program works great except for one problem with the audio. It won't let me change the audio format from LPCM. As you'll know that this format takes up way too much space (1536kbps?) on the DVD which can be used on the video instead. How come NeroVision won't let me choose to compress the audio? Do i need a plugin or something for this? I tried tinkering with every possible option in the program and the audio format is still greyed out to LPCM. Check screenshot below to see my problem. Please anyone who has a solution to this let me know thanks!

Maybe you aren't using a recent enough version? Current version is: 2.1.2.12 and was released 06-01-2004.

With the newest version the setting panel for DVD audio looks like this:

You can download the latest version here -

  4. Ask Nero's support.

They brag about the product, but have NO ANSWER to this problem.
I have been after them about it for over a month, and so far, nothing but a runaround, UNLESS you want to purchase THEIR plugin, which is supposed to be included in the latest Nero Suite, and which they do NOT guarantee will work in Nerovision Express.
