  1. I'm trying to merge all the VCDs to DVD to save space.

Basically I copy the .dat file staright to my hard drive, then I use TMPGEnc's MPEG tools to "Merge" all the files together. The VCD format is NTSC at 29.97fps with 44000KHz (I know I have to covert to 48k khz in order to be DVD compatible).

However, I'm have Audio not synchronize problem when I use TMPGEnc's MPEG tools to merge. Video's Time is exact match as Audio!

Is there a better way to do this? or am I missing some of the procedure?

    Thank you for your help!

Sorry - I'll read more closely the next time!

I assume that the audio is in sync to begin with, before TMPGEnc touches it. Before trying other packages, you may have to take the .dat to .mpg using VCDGear - this won't take long.

You could try using FileMerger, and see if that does it any better. Apparently, it just uses a simple copy command and should preserve sync. Failing that, I spotted this package that may help:

I haven't ever done this before, so I don't know much I'm afraid. With any luck one of these tools will get the job done.

    Best of luck,
