I am having problems burning dvd video files backed up from original dvd's. It will burn fine until i reach 90-99% completion. I am using nero 5.5, it came with my dvd burner. Also i have tried recordnow max, same problem. I also tried imgtool burn, same problem. I have updated my aspi driver, no help. Below is the log file from nero:

This has got me stumped. I was able to burn dvd's all day long until recently. Also the media that i am using is not branded, but it's the same media that i have used for awhile with no problems.
Thanks in advance.

try uninstalling your nero burn then use NERO CLEAN TOOL, then reinstall nero again. here's the link for NERO CLEAN TOOL: http://www.nero.com/us/631940828445001.html
What brand of dvd media are you using?

I will try the nero clean tool, as far as the brand i have no idea, they are white on the top and a purple color on the bottom. They came in a generic spindle with no brand name. I got the media from tiger direct, that's about all i can give on the media brand.

Use DVDINFOPRO or DVD IDENTIFIER to find out the media code and the manufacturer of the disc. It could be the media that is causing the problem.as far as the brand i have no idea, they are white on the top and a purple color on the bottom. They came in a generic spindle with no brand name. I got the media from tiger direct, that's about all i can give on the media brand.
