Daytek P871 Zoom feature

does anyone who has this know if theres a way to remove the zoom text? When you zoom, it says 2x whatever in text and it doesnt go away. I love this DVD player but that stupid zoom thing pisses me off and i might return it because of it. Also, where do you get firmware for this DVD player?

according to the comments (https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=3066&Search=Search&#comments) there is no way to remove the zoom text. as for firmware, check that comment page, or search on google to see if there is a way to update it

thats the stupidest thing ive ever seen on a DVD player, why would you make it so that stays there...

anyway, i looked on google but i still couldnt find anything although i didnt look hard.

I e-mailed daytek and asked them if they could make a firmware or something that makes it so that zoom text goes away, hopefully they can do it cuz i really like this DVD player.
