i'm encoding avi to wmv with windows media encoder, i'll use them on a site, where the people will be suppossed the watch them on the site.

i'm encoding them selecting "Web Server (progresive download)"

what if i select the first option "File download (computer playback)" will be they still able to watch them online?
or "Windows Media server (streaming" option?

and how each of these options influence on the size?
