I've just formatted my computer and I installed TMPGEnc. But when I transform some avi into mpeg, the mpeg file comes with a little box at the top right corner of the screen. Before formating my computer this haven't ever happend.
Does someone know how to take it off ?

    Thanks

That happens to me too, i'm not sure what it is becasue it's never been a problem for me. if you burn the file to a cd as a (s)vcd then box won't be on it anymore.

The file doesn't have the box. I've converted the same file previously (before formatting my computer).

I don't know if this is a codec issue ... Any ideas ?

  5. Makes sense, i agree with your assumption. Some codecs give a logo, could very well be the problem. Since you just reinstalled i would guess it is Mpeg2 files giving this problem, and that your player is not using the same codec as before reinstalling, maybe some shit MS WMP downloaded from the MS codec server. Installing PowerDVD should fix the problem in that case.

thor300 you got it !!! When I play the file in WinDVD it works great without that little box however when I play the file in another program (such as Windows Media Player or RealOne) the box is still there.

I'd like to know if when I make a DVD of this file, will it have the box or not ?

    Thanks

I've just tested in my computer and DVD palyer, the file is Ok, no box in it. Thanks a lot man !!!

  7. Grimey already answered that, so you can be pretty sure it will not be there.
