  1. i just converted a 10min sample of a xsvcd 720x576 25fps pal svcd mpg2 to 352x240 29.97fps vcd ntsc std and im seeing alot of "jumps" in motion areas, probably because of the 25fps to 29.97fps pal - ntsc framerate conversion. is there a way to fix this, or would i just have to go down to 23.97fps? thx

  2. first..29.97fps=ntsc...25fps=pal....23.97=ntsc with 3:2 pulldown for playback
second..if your movie is 25 fps then encode it as pal.
My understanding and experience is that most dvd players will play all the frame rates. (encode it for what it is).if you need more help, then post again.

  3. Surfish is right you don't have to do pulldown if your fps 25.
I have pal movies and when I convrt to NTSC Idon't change fps at all just leave it at 25 it works
