  1. i have a problem i was wondering if there is a program that can get rid of the lettering on the bottom of movies. I have a movie and there's lettering on the bottom of it is there a way i can edit this out . Also my movie is in avi format is there a way to convert this to dvd so it can play it on my xbox system as a dvd? thank u for ur time

    For avi to DVD conversion, read through the guides in the How To section (It's over there <-----)

    For the text, there is not much you can do. You can trim it off, and lose the bottom, or you can apply a blur over it so you make out what it says, or you could try the logo removing filter for VirtualDub, however this is best for still logos, not changing type.

    Of course if the text is a scrolling line giving the anti-piracy phone number, you should try getting a legal copy . . . . . ?

  5. DVD is DVD (more or less). That's why so many of us have dvd burners. No more compatibilty problems with players and (S)VCD formats.
